Instead of replying, Jonathan simply gestured to the shower, inviting Xinjia to go in, if that was what he wanted. Then he focused on brushing his teeth again, looking into the mirror to watch what Xinjia would do. He finally set the toothbrush aside, rinsed a couple of times and then drank a few sips of water.

And then he walked up to the shower with Xinjia in it and he stepped under the spray. His arms went around Xinjia and he cut off any protest with a kiss. It seemed to work best when not giving him a chance.
